The Whale-Eater: Student Project
In this assignment, we were supposed to add a pick-up truck and a whale into an image of a coral reef and we were supposed to make them blend into the image.
I used Adobe Photoshop and converted the whale and the pick-up truck into smart objects and created layer masks to get rid of the backgrounds. I also used the brush tool and lowered the opacity to create highlights and shadows and I brushed underneath the pick-up truck and the whale to create shadows and I brushed over the pick-up truck to create highlights. I also used filters and adjustments to make the pick-up truck and whale blend into the image and give the effect of being underwater.
